To Set Up Your Email Account in Mozilla Thunderbird

Open Mozilla Thunderbird

Click " Tools"

Select "Account Settings"

Select "Email account " and click "Next"

Enter your "name" and "email address"

Select "POP3" as the type of incoming server

Your incoming server is "mail.oregonfast.net" and click "Next"

Enter your e-mail address for the "Incoming User Name" and also the "Outgoing User Name" and click "Next"

Enter a name for your email account and click "Next"

Verify your account information and click "Finish"

Note: If you are connecting to the internet using Dial up, please also do the following:

In the Account Settings window, select "Outgoing Server" listed below your new email account

Enter "mail.oregonfast.net" for the "Server Name" and change the Port setting to 465

Select "Use name and password" and enter your e-mail address

UNCHECK THE BOX that says "Use secure connection, select "SSL"

Restart your computer before you try to use your computer.
