Open your mail program

From the menu, choose “preferences”

Click the “accounts” tab within the preferences window

Choose “create account”

Choose to set up a POP account

The description field is used to identify the account on your computer

Be sure that your email address is entered in all lower case letters

In the “full name” field, enter your name as you want recipients to see it on their end

Incoming mail server will be mail.oregonfast.net, then enter your user name and password in all lower case letters

Under the outgoing mail field, click “server settings”. Make sure the box that says “use secure socket layer” DOES NOT HAVE A CHECKMARK.
then change the server port number above it to 587. In authentication, choose “password”.
Enter your user name and password (put only your user name, not the full email address)

When you are finished, click OK.

To set up more accounts, repeat the steps above.
